Get your running shoes on, everyone. Racing season is upon us.

There are several chances to get out, compete and get active in Northwest Arkansas over the next few months, and we’ve compiled a list of all the upcoming races in the area we could find from now through the end of April.

Beer & Bagel Off Road

Date: March 5
Time: 10 a.m.
Distance: 4 miles
Location: Saddlebock Brewery, Springdale, AR
Cost: $40-45
More info: Nebraska-based race the Beer & Bagel is back for a second year for a March 5 run at Saddlebock Brewery in Springdale. It’s an off road race, and there will be bagels, beer (obviously), and homemade chili. Click here to register.

Irish 5k/10k

Location: Bentonville Community Center Bentonville, AR

Cow Paddy 5K/1K

Location: Gulley Park, Fayetteville, AR

More info: The Cow Paddy run is an annual 5k and 1k fun run benefitting the Fayetteville Public Education Foundation. Runners are encouraged to dress up, and there are prizes for the best cow costume, and craziest costume. Click here to register.


Down and Dirty 5k

Date: March 12
Time: 8:30 a.m.
Distance: 5K/1 mile fun run
Location: University of Arkansas Agri Park
Cost: $20-25
More info: The Crop, Soil, and Environmental Science Graduate Student Club at University of Arkansas is hosting the 6th annual Down & Dirty 5K on March 12, 2016. Proceeds will benefit University of Arkansas’s Full Circle Food Pantry. Click here to register.


Fight Back 5k and Fun Run

Date: March 12
Time: 8:30 a.m.
Distance: 5K/1 mile fun run
Location: Mercy Family YMCA (5214 Village Parkway, Rogers)
Cost: 5k is $20-25, fun run is $10
More info: The Fight Back 5K and Fun Run includes a chip timed 5K race and a 1 mile Fun Run. Race proceeds benefit American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Benton County! Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female overall, plus the top 3 male and female in each 5 year age division. Click here to register.


Nutty Runner 5k

Date: March 12
Time: 12 p.m.
Distance: 5K
Location: Columbus House Brewery
Cost: $20-$35
More info: Columbus House Brewery is behind this new race, that will feature a “Nutty Runner Division” requiring participants to drink a pint of their signature beer of the same name after each mile of the race. Click here to register.


Iron Pig Festival Duathlon

Date: March 26
Time: 2 p.m.
Distance: Duathlon (5k run, 18 mile bike ride), 5k Run, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Location: Fayetteville Executive Airport, Drake Field

Bentonville Half Marathon

Date: April 2
Time: 7 a.m.
Distance: Half marathon (13 miles), Half marathon relay, 5k
Location: Downtown Bentonville, AR
Cost: Half marathon is $70, half marathon relay is $45/person, 5k is $30.

Hogeye Marathon

Date: April 10
Time: 7:00 a.m.
Distance: Marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon, 5k, and 1 mile fun run
Cost: Marathon is $85, half marathon is $70, 5k is $30, and the marathon relay is $160 ($40 per person).
Location: Downtown square, Fayetteville, AR
More info: A 40-year-old event, the Hogeye Marathon begins on the Fayetteville square and runs through several historic areas of the city before finishing up on Dickson Street. There’s also a half marathon, 5k, and relay marathon. Proceeds from the event benefit several local charities. Click here to register.


SpringFest 5K

Date: April 16
Time: 8 a.m.
Distance: 5k

Location: Dickson Street, Fayetteville, AR
More info: A fun 5K run as part of the annual Fayetteville Springfest street festival on Dickson Street. Proceeds from the event benefit the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Registration will open soon.


Race for the Cure

Distance: 5K/10K
Location: Pinnacle Hills Promenade Mall, Rogers AR
