Fayetteville police seek help identifying Dickson Street flasher

Fayetteville Police Department

Police are asking for help identifying a suspect accused of flashing two young women early Sunday morning (Feb. 21).

According to a post on the Fayetteville Police Department’s Facebook page, the women reported seeing a man staring at them and exposing his genitals while standing in a parking lot on Dickson Street.

Police said when confronted, the man fled on foot but not before a photo was taken of him using a cell phone camera.

The Facebook post included a cropped version of the photo that police hope will help lead to the suspect’s arrest. He was described as a white male wearing track pants, a pullover jacket, and a cap.

Anyone with information about the case (#2016-16315) is urged to call the Fayetteville Police Department at 479-587-3555 (select “1” for dispatch).
