Update The concert has been moved to the Boys & Girls Club (560 N. Rupple Rd.) due to the threat of inclement weather.

The 20th annual Gulley Park Concert Series kicks off tonight (Thursday, May 26) with Nashville-based Americana rock band BRUNS.

Led by songwriter Tim Bruns, BRUNS sound is described as “a gospel-infused Tom Petty as much as it is Bruce Springsteen in the New South,” and “their mix of vocals, guitar, and rhythm adds vintage sheen that lends the band a signature sound.”

For those who’ve never attended, Gulley Park Concerts take place at the gazebo in the park. Music starts at 7 p.m., and typically runs until around 9 p.m.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Boys and Girls Club, located at 560 N. Rupple Rd. For last minute inclement weather information, call 479-443-7275.
