Artosphere Festival Orchestra

School’s out, and the students are back in Dallas or wherever for the summer, and that means it’s time for the full-time residents of Fayetteville to reclaim the city for the next couple months.

There are plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the shorter lines at the bar, too. Music-wise, Denton-Texas based pop rockers the Jessie Frye Band will be in town for a show at George’s with locals, Paper Anthem.

There’s a rock show at The Lightbulb Club with Dallas, TX band SilverTongue Devil and locals, Witchsister.

One of the signature events of the annual Artosphere Festival is Friday night at Crystal Bridges. The Artosphere Festival Orchestra will be performing a concert entitled “Mozart in the Museum” at 8 p.m. It’s the orchestra’s last performance of this year’s festival. Here’s more information.

Saturdays in the summertime start at the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market on the square. They just do. Everyone’s gonna be down there.

Music wise, there’s a dance party at Smoke & Barrel Tavern. DJ E-Yo will be hosting his monthly party called RFRSH, featuring classics from Hip-Hop, R&B, Latin, Reggaeton, Rock, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and some new stuff to shake your rump to.

Little Rock funky-jazz-R&B outfit Big Damn Horns will be in town for a show at George’s on Saturday night.
