City officials last week celebrated the completion of the Town Branch Trail at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Greathouse Park in south Fayetteville.
The 2.2-mile trail runs from Frisco Trail just south of Walker Park to Tsa La Gi Trail near the I-49 interchange at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The 12-foot-wide concrete path follows the natural scenic corridor of the Town Branch Creek, and includes LED lighting along the entire length of the trail.
As with many city events, the Fayetteville Government Channel was there to record the ceremony.
