Giveaway: Full weekend passes to Homegrown Music Festival, July 21-23 at Byrd’s Adventure Center

Stage schedule for Homegrown Music Festival / Courtesy

In case you haven’t heard, there’s a new music festival making its debut on the Mulberry River this year.

The inaugural Homegrown Music Festival is set for July 21-23 at Byrd’s Adventure Center in Ozark, Arkansas, and as we’ve previously mentioned, the lineup for the first year festival is looking pretty awesome.

Headlinders include bluegrass legends Leftover Salmon, Americana/Folk trio The Wood Brothers, bluegrass bands Town Mountain and Grandpa’s Cough Medicine, country duo The Lowest Pair, and several more.

In addition to the music, the festival will also have a sustainability aspect that is pretty interesting. Attendees will be issued bamboo plates, pint glasses, and utensels to use for the weekend, for example, and food vendors will not be bringing single-use plastics or disposable packaging. Dishwashing stations will be set up throughout the grounds. A local hog farm will pick up compostables each day, and Richter Solar will be helping to power the festival with solar energy.

The festival is a family-friendly event as well, with several activities planned for children including an activity tent facilitated by Art Feeds, designated camping areas for families, and a kids-only dance floor near the main stage. Kids 12 and under will also get in free to the event.

Three-day passes are now on sale for $125 each at the festival’s website, and two-day passes for Friday and Saturday Night are $90.

You won’t have to worry about that, though, if you’re the winner of the following giveaway. Good luck, buddy.
