Canadian author and productivity guru Chris Bailey will be in town next week to discuss his book The Productivity Project at Fayetteville Public Library.

The author, set to appear at the library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, is considered one of the leading experts on the subject after he spent a full year after college conducting experiments and blogging about productivity and work for his “A Year of Productivity” project.

Bailey ultimately condensed his findings into his new book, The Productivity Project, released earlier this year. The book became an instant success, and a nonfiction bestseller in his native Canada.

Bailey’s work on the subject of productivity has also appeared in a number of national publications including The New York Times, Fortune, The Harvard Business Review, and Business Insider.

He also regularly posts his ideas on his website, alifeofproductivity.com.

His talk at Fayetteville Public Library will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 7. It is free and open to the public.
