Weekend Flyer: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Too’s, Lost John and more

Friday, July 8

Local players The Crude Mechanicals will kick off a series of free performances of Shakespeare’s
A Midsummer Night’s Dream at 7:30 p.m. at Gulley Park Friday night. Here’s more information about that.

Music-wise, local country-rockers Charliehorse are back together for a show at Kingfish, there’s a rock show at Backspace with Ten High highlighting a four-band bill, and excellent Joplin band The Too’s and locals Lost John are at Smoke & Barrel.
