Technology upgrades to limit city payments this week

Visitors to Fayetteville City Hall will notice some limits on payment processing this week while staff work to upgrade the city’s financial software.

On Thursday, July 21, payments will not be accepted after 4 p.m., and the financial services and cashier’s office will not be open to the public.

On Friday, July 22, payments will only be accepted for utility services.

Online payments can still be made at any time, but will not be posted until Monday, July 25.

If payments are received by the due date, accounts will not be charged a late fee, according to a news release.
