Tickets are on sale for the Dickson Street Slide event, set for Sunday, Aug. 28 in Fayetteville.
Similar to last year, the 2016 event will include a giant slip-and-slide set up along Dickson Street.

Local organization Soldier On Service Dogs has cut out the middle man this year and is producing the event without Slide the City. Plans include local vendors, a live music stage, and a beer garden.
Tickets range from $20 for a single slide to $60 for five hours of unlimited rides. This year’s fun is broken up into two sessions, meaning riders must choose the morning (9 a.m.) or afternoon (3:30 p.m.) slot when purchasing single- or unlimited-ride tickets.
