Police release stats for second day of Bikes, Blues & BBQ

The 2016 Bikes, Blues & BBQ motorcycle rally has so far accounted for nearly a dozen arrests, two citations, one reported stolen motorcycle, and no accidents.

Police said 11 people were arrested on Thursday in the rally event areas. Of those arrested, eight were from Northwest Arkansas, two were Oklahoma, and one was from Mississippi. Charges included disorderly conduct, public intoxication, driving while intoxicated, minor in possession of alcohol, and failure to appear.


Wednesday, Sept. 21 activity

  • A Springdale motorcyclist was cited for disobeying a stop sign at Spring Street and East Avenue.

There were no arrests, no wrecks, and no motorcycles reported stolen on Wednesday.

Thursday, Sept. 22 activity

  • A 20-year-old Rogers man was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and public intoxication in the 400 block of West Spring Street.
  • A 28-year-old Fayetteville man was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct near Dickson Street and Campbell Avenue.
  • A Fayetteville woman was arrested for a Rogers warrant for failure to appear in the 200 block of West Avenue.
  • A 22-year-old Springdale man was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in the 600 block of Dickson Street.
  • A 51-year-old Springdale man was arrested for public intoxication near Dickson Street and West Avenue.
  • A 23-year-old Bella Vista woman was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in the 500 block of Dickson Street.
  • A 22-year-old Springdale man was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, fleeing, and battery 3rd degree in the 300 block of West Avenue.
  • A 38-year-old man from Edmond, Oklahoma was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in the 400 block of Watson Avenue.
  • A 38-year-old man from Edmond, Oklahoma was arrested for public intoxication in the 400 block of Watson Avenue.
  • A 62-year-old man from Brandon, Mississippi was arrested for DWI in the 400 block of West Spring Street.
  • A 24-year-old Centerton man was arrested for public intoxication near Dickson Street and West Avenue.
  • A Nobel, Oklahoma man was cited for excessive noise prohibited (engine revving) at Dickson Street and Powerhouse Avenue.
  • A 1994 Harley Davidson was reported stolen from the area near Dickson Street and College Avenue.

There were no wrecks on Thursday.
