Volunteers needed for Lake Fayetteville cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 8

The Lake Fayetteville Watershed Partnership will hold its annual fall Lake Fayetteville cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Registration for volunteers begins at 9 a.m. at two locations:

• Lake Fayetteville Environmental Study Center, 511 E. Lakeview Drive
• Lake Fayetteville marina and softball fields, 501 N. Lewis Ave.

The cleanup is open to the public. Cleanup supplies will be provided, along with free lunch and water. Participants are encouraged to wear old clothing and closed-toe shoes.
