There’s a new breakfast spot coming soon to north Fayetteville.

Signs for Oklahoma City-based restaurant chain Jimmy’s Egg appeared recently at 3931 N. Shiloh Dr., on the building formerly home to Kirkland’s in Nelson’s Crossing.

The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch, and most locations are open from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. The menu includes egg dishes, omelettes, waffles, pancakes, and other standard breakfast fare along with burgers, sandwiches, and lunch entrees.

Jimmy’s Egg was founded by Vietnamese refugee Loc Le, who opened the original location in Oklahoma City in the 1970s.

The chain, which made Restaurant Business Online’s list of the fastest growing small chains in the country for 2016, currently operates about 50 locations in Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas. The company recently announced plans to expand into Arkansas, New Mexico and Iowa.

If all goes well, the new place is expected to open sometime in early 2017.
