DEFINING A CONTEST/GIVEAWAY

Contests and giveaways are essentially content on the Fayetteville Flyer in that they live amongst the other stories and are pushed to all subscribers through feed readers of all types. A contest or giveaway consists of an initial post that invites readers to participate in some way in order to be entered to win. Sometimes this is done by leaving a comment on the story, other times social media tools such as Twitter or Facebook are used as entries in order to help spread the message.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Setup and maintenance of the initial post including comment moderation and an eventual random drawing are included in the fee. We can notify the winner and distribute the prize or you can do that yourself. It’s up to you.

WANT MORE? NO PROBLEM

Additional upgrades are available for a standard contest or giveaway. For example, a discounted sidebar banner ad to remind readers of the contest or an actual reminder post can be purchased for added value.

There are some things we just won’t give away on the Flyer for various reasons including relevance or simply for reasons of taste.
