Fully closed square not likely for Farmers’ Market expansion
The City Council is still trying to decide whether the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market should be allowed to expand its downtown footprint on Saturday mornings during market season.
Arkansas moves from 50th to 37th in bicycle friendliness
Officials said the increased rank can be attributed to improved infrastructure and funding that provide bicycle facilities; education and programs that promote cycling; and passage and enforcement of bicycle safety laws.

Sales tax collections up in Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers
Sales tax revenue was up this month in three of the four largest cities in Northwest Arkansas. Only Bentonville reported a drop in collections compared to the same month last year.
