FPL Seeks Historic Fayetteville Photos

FAYETTEVILLE – The Fayetteville Public Library will host a call for historical Fayetteville photos on Saturday, December 4 as part of its effort to create a documentary about the story of Fayetteville.
Residents are invited to bring historical photos of Fayetteville residents, historic homes and other noteworthy architecture to the library’s Walker Community Room, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Photos will be scanned on site and returned to their owners.
The images will become part of the library’s digital collection of Fayetteville images, which will be available for library patrons and may be used in Up Among the Hills: the Story of Fayetteville.
Upcoming events will seek photos of Fayetteville schools, businesses and houses of worship.
Residents may stop by with their photos at any time between 1 to 4 p.m. to have their photos scanned. No appointment is necessary.
