An iconic art exhibition will soon be leaving NWA. After being featured in The New York Times and being seen by visitors from around the nation, Annie Leibovitz at Work will be closing at the end of its run at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

Open only until January 29, Annie Leibovitz at Work is a new exhibition of portraits by the famed photographer. In addition to her daring pictures for magazines like Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, and Vogue, the show includes a set of exciting new works made for Crystal Bridges—Leibovitz’s first museum commission.

Whether highlighting household names or local heroes, these pictures demonstrate Leibovitz’s discerning vision and desire to celebrate people of the extraordinary now—including queens, presidents, rock stars, and more.

Each photograph, though striking on its own, is part of a larger story. When placed together, these pictures take the viewer on a journey through five decades of Leibovitz’s celebrated career, offering a dynamic peek into the artist’s contemporary practice and focus. The exhibition paints a picture of the artist’s mind literally “at work”, demonstrating the kinds of relationships and connections that Leibovitz herself makes when assembling her acclaimed publications.

Be sure to catch this one-of-a-kind exhibition before it’s gone. Learn more about Annie Leibovitz at Work and get tickets at CrystalBridges.org/Annie.
