The Fayetteville Roots Festival lineup announcement party at Greenhouse Grille on Sunday was completely sold out, partially because those in attendance wanted to be among the first to find out who would play during the four-day event to be held August 23-26 in Fayetteville.
The other reason the 100 or so people lucky enough to get a ticket showed up Sunday night? They were probably there to see radical local band 3 Penny Acre, along with Boston-based bands Joy Kills Sorrow and Lake Street Dive perform.
Also, Greenhouse Grille was making appetizers. Several people were probably there just for that (yum).
