It’s going to be a good weekend for eating mudbugs.

The annual Ales & Tails beer and crawfish festival we wrote about recently is happening at the Washington County Fairgrounds on Saturday, and another crawfish boil is happening on Sunday with local musician Isayah Warford’s Family Crawfish Boil set for Sunday at George’s.

Warford’s event will take place from 12-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 7. Attendees can get all the crawfish they can eat, including corn, potatoes, and sauces for $20 per person. Kids 12 and under eat for free, and kids of all-ages are welcome to attend the event.

It’s Isayah Warford’s event, so of course, there will be plenty of music. Performers this year include Richard Burnett & Friends, Creek Rocks, Earl & Them (featuring special guests Jesse Dean and Jon Mader), Mark Bilyeu, and of course, Isayah Warford.

A $10 ticket is also available for those who just want to enjoy the music, and don’t want to eat crawfish.
