The Rocky Horror Picture Show returns Halloween Eve to Walton Arts Center

Let’s do the time warp again! Fasten your garter belt and get ready for a Halloween night out at Walton Arts Center. The popular Rocky Horror movie night is back with live music, spooky cocktails and a costume contest (with cash prizes) on Monday, Oct. 30 – so you can celebrate with your friends and still go trick or treating with the kiddos!

The party starts at 6pm with a preshow concert by local favorite party band Ultra Suede in Walton Arts Center’s Walker Atrium. Other pre-show activities include the annual Rocky Horror costume contest! Don’t be a square – like Brad. Dress up in your best ghoulish attire and compete against other fans of the most popular cult classic of all time. First and second place prizes will be awarded! Emcees Jason & Jennie Miller are the judges de jure for the evening.

Then, it’s time to relive the hijinks of your favorite characters – Brad, Janet, Dr. Frank-N-Furter and all the party guests on the big screen in Baum Walker Hall. This is a BYOP (Bring Your Own Props) show! Pack your sequined evening bag with these approved props: newspaper, flashlight, rubber gloves, noisemakers (kazoos), toilet paper, toast (unbuttered!), party hats, cowbell and cards. A limited number of prop bags will also be available for purchase from WAC concessions.

Brush up on your Rocky Horror etiquette here, then buy your tickets to this screamingly funny, sinfully twisted Halloween party at Walton Arts Center! Tickets are on sale now for just $20.
