Unknown Hinson
One of the weirdest songwriters we can think of is coming to Fayetteville this weekend.
Unknown Hinson, who’s song titles include “I Cleaned Out a Room (In My Trailer for You),” “I Make Faces (When I Make Love),” “I Ain’t Afraid of Your Husband,” and “Rock ‘N Roll is Straight from Hell” will perform at Smoke & Barrel Tavern on Saturday, Nov. 11.
The country singer is best known for his voice work as the lead character on the Cartoon Network series Squidbillies, and for touring around the country with the likes of Hank Williams III and Reverend Horton Heat.
As we’ve noted before, he’s also apparently Billy Bob Thorton’s favorite songwriter.
It’s an early show, scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
