A local organization that operates an orphanage in Kenya will host their largest fundraiser of the year this month.
Restore Humanity’s annual Winetopia event is set for Friday, Oct. 21 at Pratt Place Barn.
The event, which is typically a wine tasting highlighting dozens of wines from around the world, has added craft beer and bourbon to the lineup this year. In addition, there will be food, live music, a silent auction, and other activities.
Organizers say that the fundraiser typically raises enough money to help fund their Children’s Home in Kenya – providing food, clothes, medicine, security, and education to 19 children – for an entire year.
Tickets are $75, and include food, drinks, and a souvenir glass. The party is open to folks ages 21 and up.
