Council votes to require soil inspection, annex 99 acres
The Fayetteville City Council voted 5-2 to require soil inspection prior to developing land in the Hillside/Hilltop Overlay District.
Farmers’ Market may get longer Saturday hours and join First Thursday on the square
The market may be open until 2 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 4 p.m. to dark on the first Thursday of each month starting this season.

Art, movies and music on the square for First Thursday
Starting in August, Fayetteville is getting their own version of a regular downtown movie night to add to the already awesome First Thursday Art Walk. Live music by Marshall Mitchell and Guta, and a showing of War Eagle Arkansas are scheduled for August 6th.
