Next Town Hall Meeting: June 4 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church
More than 50 people turned out for a town hall meeting held at St. James last June. Most were there to discuss the University of Arkansas’ plans to build a temporary service road through a portion of Old Main lawn.

The Mayor’s Town Hall Meeting which was canceled last month due to a 16-inch-thick snow sandwich that was dropped on Fayetteville, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 20.

Artery blockage could mean surgery for Mayor Lioneld Jordan
Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan will take a break from his daily duties at city hall to deal with blockage of a carotid artery which supplies oxygenated blood to the brain.
The issue may require Jordan to undergo surgery as early as Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.
