Jordan Team holding public meeting Tuesday

The last time Mayor Jordan’s Transition Team announced a public meeting, our local watch dogs handed it to them and deemed both the time and place a terrible choice for a meeting that’s supposed to invite public input.

“If you really want to involve and hear from all the community, why begin by framing the discussion and holding your first open meeting at the Chamber of Cowbirds office?” said The Iconoclast. “Are there no rooms available at City Hall or the Blair Library, where the full committee met?” they continued.

Never underestimate the power of the Jonahs, y’all.

We just received confirmation that the Jordan Transition Team is now holding its next public meeting tomorrow evening (January 6th) from 6-8pm in the Board Room at the Fayetteville Public Library.

The meeting is sponsored by the team’s Cultural/Environmental/Infrastructure Committee and is open to the public.
