Fayetteville Public Schools needs guitars

Do you have an extra guitar gathering dust in the closet/attic/other storage area of your house? Wanna see that thing being put to good use? The Fayetteville Public School system is currently accepting donations for your underused, under-rocked guitar for local students to use for practice instruments.

“We received a grant from the Starr Foundation to purchase guitars for use at school,” said Richard Wiseman, “but the students would like to have guitars they could check out to take home and practice. If anyone has an old guitar in the attic or in the closet and would like to donate it to a great cause, we would love to have it!”

If your ax is just sitting there next to your VHS tapes and your bobble-head collection, what have you got to lose? You could contribute to the musical education of the next Jimi Hendrix. Or Dimebag Darrell. Or John Denver. Or, well, you get the idea.

If you have a guitar to donate, please contact Mr. Wiseman at rwiseman(at)fayar(dot)net.
