To-Do Thursday: 1/22/09

It’s Thursday, January 22 and it was 61 degrees outside today. I had a hard time typing that sentence. Probably because my fingers couldn’t believe what my mind was telling them to do.

Weird.

What’s going on tonight? Here’s what we know about. As always, if we’ve missed something, just leave a comment.

George’s has Bryan Burkhart & Friends featuring: Well Well Well, Jesus Chrysler Supercar, Randy Soller & The System, The Bright Lights and Bob Kramer Incident.

Opal Fly is back at Smoke & Barrel Tavern with her Musician Showcase. If you haven’t checked it out yet, stop by for what owner Evan McDonald calls “Hot jazz, drunken drums, fire dancing and, now, a magician!”

The Walton Arts Center is starting off a 2-day run of Drumline Live.

Wanna dance? Scarpino’s has its usual Thursday night “Salsa, Swing etc. Lesson” at 8:30 for $10. An hour later, the dancing begins (9:30pm) and for the ladies, there’s no cover until 10pm.

Finally, Pesto Cafe has Kevin Bennoch.
