To-Do Tuesday: 2/10/09

Tuesday is a day of the week in the Gregorian calendar. According to the international standard ISO 8601, it is the second day of the week. It occurs between Monday and Wednesday. Thank you, Wikipedia. I can always count on you.

Tonight isn’t very show-heavy but it’s certainly music-heavy because between just two venues, there are 7 bands playing in Fayetteville. And the loudest five of them are poised to quite possibly rock the mid-section of College Avenue harder than it’s been rocked since Chuck’s Mini Golf offered a free game for a hole-in-one on 18. You remember that one, right? It was the one with the bucket.

In other words, it’s metal night at the Gypsy on College and five NWA bands are on the bill including Sinking South, The Battle Within, Human, Anomaly and A Restless Tongue.

George’s Majestic Lounge has Brooklyn’s Citizen Cope and Laurel, Mississippi’s own Charlie Mars, however, according to the George’s ticket page, there are no more tickets to be bought. Sold out? Looks like it.

What are you doing tonight?
