There’s nothing like coming in to work and discovering that one of the bands playing in town tonight has a MySpace page featuring a gigantic green alien robot standing above piles and piles of human skulls while four marble-swirled glass bongs slowly emit puffs of smoke. It must be Wednesday.
At George’s tonight is a sold out show with Slightly Stoopid. Just down the street at Club Froggy’s is Fayetteville’s own The 1 oz. Jig.
If stoner robots or jigs aren’t your thang, catch some great light jazz at Ella’s with the Claudia Burson Trio from 6 to 9pm.
Finally, there’s a Musicians Jam Night going on at the Gypsy on College if none of the above sounds like fun.
Of course, if you haven’t yet given up on the Hogs (I’m still holding my breath), they play at Auburn tonight but there’s no TV coverage so you’ll have to tune in using a radio. Does anyone still have a radio? How much do you want for it?
