Giveaway: The Passing Zone

Everyone has a hidden talent, right? Maybe you’re one of those people who can tie a cherry stem in a knot with just your tongue or maybe you can wiggle your ears (or pecs).

Not all talents are created equal and not all talents are really all that safe. Take juggling chainsaws, for example. How exactly do you discover that talent? Certainly it’s not by accident, right? At what point in your juggling career do you decide it’s time to move on to chainsaws? Probably right after you discovered how to make a case of beer disappear all by yourself.

The Passing Zone is a comedy duo made up of John Wee and Owen Morse. They juggle. They joke. They wear tights. And hopefully, they receive more laughs than they do open wounds.

They’re coming to the Walton Arts Center this Friday (Feb 27) at 8pm and if you’d like to win yourself a pair of tickets, then this contest is for you.

How to enter: Leave a comment telling us about your hidden talent. Try to keep it clean, though. Nobody wants to hear about what you can do when the lights are off. Unless of course, a real-live unicorn is somehow involved. We’ll randomly choose a winner and let you know via e-mail that you’ve won.

A few rules (read ‘em carefully):

  • You may only enter this specific contest once. If you enter this contest more than once you’ll be automatically disqualified.
  • This contest is open to anyone anywhere except Fayetteville Flyer writers and their immediate family members.
  • Contest is open until 11:59pm CST on Wednesday, February 25, 2009.
Make sure you leave a valid e-mail address when filling out the comment form since that’s how we’ll contact you if you’ve won.
  • You’ll have to provide us with your first and last name (if you win) and then be prepared to show a valid photo ID when picking up your tickets.

Thanks to the Walton Arts Center for sponsoring this contest. For more information about this performance and to purchase tickets, visit waltonartscenter.org or call 479-443-5600.
