To-do tonight: Wednesday 4/1

For anyone who attended Fayetteville Forward last night, I think we can all agree that it was a pretty inspiring evening to say the least. We’ll have more on Fayetteville Forward later today but in case you couldn’t make it out last night, don’t forget that you can still attend one of the two remaining slots for session one.

Speaking of missing things last night, if you didn’t see Shannon Wurst at Smiling Jack’s, you can make up for that this evening by catching her at the Smoke & Barrel Tavern since she’s Jeff Kearney’s Skinny Squinty Show special guest.

And speaking of Smiling Jack’s, tonight’s show should be good. Cody Russell of Charliehorse is making a special acoustic appearance. We can’t wait for the weather to settle down so we can see some of these shows on their nice, comfy deck.

Just up the street at George’s is Kory Montgomery‘s birthday party featuring none other than … well … Kory Montgomery. In an effort to mention his name three times in one paragraph, I’m including this link to the Kory Montgomery interview we posted yesterday. Plus, I wanted you to see the link.

Austin, Texas’ Dana Falconberry, will be RZ’s on the UA campus tonight at 8pm. If you haven’t heard Dana, click the link and take a listen. Or tune into KXUA 88.3FM today at around 4pm since she’ll be on air for a bit.

Campus, campus, campus. Also on campus (that’s 4 campuses) tonight at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall is the Gregory Battista Euphonium Recital. Tis free. Tis open to the public. Tis at 7:30pm.

Would you rather just dance your April Fools Day Blues* away? Guest DJ Zac Slade will be spinning alongside resident DJs EQ & Shortfuze at FIX (basement of Willy D’s). No cover charge there.

* I don’t know what April Fools Day Blues means.
