To-do: Tuesday 4/14

Twitter moment of the day: I’m thirsty for some chocolate milk.

Side note: Does anyone really believe that bottled chocolate milk is made from the nasty, leftover milk that looks too gross to bottle so they throw some chocolate in there to hide it? I’ve heard that all my life but still drink it anyway.

The sun is out and it’s warming up. If you work anywhere near the square, you should “forget something in your car” and run down to the Farmers’ Market for a few minutes. You’ve got until 1pm today before they close up shop.

A lot of people will be at Baum Stadium this evening. Many want to see if the Hogs can pull themselves back up after a complete double beat-down a few days ago and others will just want to chillax in this weather.

Looking at the list below, there’s not a lot in terms of live music. The Eoff Brothers, The Declaration and The Kory Montgomery Band are at the Gypsy on College, though.

According to Michelle Miesse, UP Coffeehouse Chair, the poetry slam at Smiling Jack’s tonight at 7pm is $3 for students and $5 for non-students. “The theme this month is ‘Petty Cash’ and anybody who has two 3-minute poems can compete,” says Miesse.
