Weekend: April 17, 18, 19

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Friday, Apr 17, 2009

It’s been a week. It started with Monday, which was all “eww check me out,” and then Tuesday happened, and I was like, “vomit.”
Then it was all “WEDNESDAY,” all shouty like that which was soooo 2006, and then Thursday was a pile of butts all piled in a butt-pile.

Today, though, today is Friday, and that can only mean one thing; donuts are delicious.

This weekend is looking pretty awesome (I know, I say that every week), even though the weather looks pretty butty.

Tonight, Dinosaur Jr. will be at George’s. If you know who Dinosaur Jr. is, you are probably extremely excited. Thanks to all those who entered the contest. You guys were dorks in the 90’s.

Also tonight, the one-man-show Fully Committed will be at the Walton Arts Center. Good job on that contest too.

Jed Clampit makes his return to Maxines tomorrow. He’ll be wearing a beard.

Tomorrow, starts with the Farmers Market on the square, and maybe a pastry at this place. Then, head over to EAS Razorfest to kick it with former Razorback Felix Jones. Later on Saturday, the Razorbacks will be having their spring football contest at 6:00. Football? Yup.

Saturday night, there’s a pretty awesome sounding show at the Smoke and Barrel. Whale Fire, The See, St. Anthony, and Jacob Enwood will be rocking their musical instruments. If you haven’t seen The See, see them. Trust me.

I don’t know a thing about Swamp Donkey, playing at the Gypsy on Saturday, but their name is Swamp Donkey. Awesome.
