To-do: Tuesday 4/21

  • By Todd Gill · Tuesday, Apr 21, 2009

It’s Tuesday, Fayetteville. And you know what that means, right? It’s time for a quiz. Instead of the normal quizzes* I give, though, this one’s gonna be easy. Are you ready? Get set! Go!

I want to know how you pronounce Tuesday. In other words, do you say “tooz-day” or “tYooz-day” or “tooz-dee”? Or is it a combination of the last two as in perhaps “tYooz-dee”?

Just curious.

Tonight should be fun on the UA campus.

As part of the Campus Consciousness Tour, which is described as “half rock tour, half environmental campaign”, Boston-based Guster will be performing live at the Chi Omega Greek Theater.

The Campus Consciousness Tour is a project of Guster’s Adam Gardner and his wife’s environmental non-profit, Reverb.

It’s a free show and starts at 8pm. Wild Sweet Orange will be opening.

There are some other things going on tonight. You can find a list of them located on this website directly underneath this sentence or you could use our events page.

Chi Omega Greek Theater: Guster at 8pm
Fayetteville Farmers’ Market: On the square (7am-1pm)
George’s: Electro Lounge, Ingram Hill, Randal Shreve, Zach Gump, Monster Garden
Gypsy on College: Big Hands Birthday Bash
Jose’s: Pope County Bootleggers
RZ’s Coffeehouse: Mendy Knott, founder of H.O.W.L. (Her Words Out Loud) 7:30pm
Smiling Jack’s Fresh Foods: Effron White
Walton Arts Center: UA Concert Band & Wind Symphony

* By “normal quizzes” I mean “no quizzes” because I’ve never given one before.
