Wakarusa releases stage schedule

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Wednesday, May 6, 2009

We already knew most of the bands that were playing at Wakarusa this year, and today we found out where and when the bands will be playing.

The stage schedule for this year’s festival has been released. As they usually go with the big festivals, the local guys are playing the early slots, and the bigger names are playing a little later in the day. Of note, the Black Crowes are the main stage headliner on Saturday following G Love. Friday night’s main stage lineup is pretty awesome as well, with Matisyahu, Les Claypool, Younder Mountain String Band, and STS9 all sharing the same stage.

There are four stages at this year’s festival, and they’re all pretty packed for the entire four day festival. Things begin winding down a little on Sunday, where it looks like the festival will be down to two stages. Fayetteville’s Charliehorse looks to have nabbed a Sunday slot. Check it out, yo.

Also, if you haven’t already, there are a couple more days to enter to win tickets. Just saying.
