Rogue Pizza Company coming to Dickson Street

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Thursday, May 7, 2009

We’ve been hearing rumors that the people behind Brewski’s in Fayetteville have leased the building that used to house Froggy’s, and are working on re-opening a restaurant / live music venue where the world’s most poorly named bar used to be.

Application for a liquor license

Then, we saw the official notice on the door that someone had applied for a Retail Liquor license for that location.

Then, we saw some guys working outside, and we even noticed a ladder was left in the middle of the patio. Very suspicious indeed.

Then, we just walked in to Brewski’s and asked them if they were opening up a venue in that location.

The details are still being hashed out, and even the name is still in question, but the rumors are true in that the fine folks at one of the longer-running bars on Dickson Street are in fact opening a new establishment just down the street. The plan is get the patio fixed up and begin with some live music as soon as mid-June or early July.

There will be a restaurant element as well, with pizza and sandwiches, and the inside of the place will be getting a complete overhaul. We’ll know more about “Rogue Pizza Company” as it is tentatively named in the next few weeks, and we’ll keep you posted.
