To-do: Thursday 5/7

Tonight’s one of those nights where we’re gonna have to sit down and map this stuff out. There’s simply too much going on to wrap our heads around it.

For starters, the Farmers’ Market Mill District is looking to have a nice, rain-free evening. Fingers crossed.

The First Thursday Downtown Arts Walk starts at 5pm. It’s the Grand Opening of the E Street Gallery of Fine Crafts inside Fayetteville Underground and just around the corner at ddp gallery is the Now + Again Artists reception.

Now for the musics. GoodFolk has its first show of the month. David Olney from Nashville is set to perform with Sergio Webb.

Heading to Dickson Street? Walton Arts Center has The Ten Tenors and next door at Smiling Jack’s is Rachel Fields.

Just across the way at Smoke & Barrel is Opal Fly‘s CD release party for her Live at Smoke & Barrel Tavern album. Discounted CDs, live music and even some fire are on the schedge for tonight.

Remember Where’s Lawrence?? We do. They’re heading to town tonight to play at George’s. Should be awesome.

About a hundred yards to the south at Powerhouse, you can check out Hardaway & The Commoners on the patio.

I’m just gonna have to stop there.

Q: How are we going to make it to everything?
A: We’re not. But we’ll try.
