To-do: Thursday 5/21

  • By Todd Gill · Thursday, May 21, 2009

Score one for Arkansas. Too bad America “chose sweetness over sizzle“, though. Of course, it always helps when a higher power gets involved with the American Idol results.

Whatcha gawn do tonight, Fayetteville?

Christmas Fuller Project is playing George’s which should be great. And speaking of should-be-great, Opal Fly is at Smoke & Barrel tonight. (Side note: I was eating at Lucky Luke’s last week and heard a guy say, “My new favorite band in town is that Opal Fly thing.” I assume that guy will be there.)

Need more fashion in your life? More shows? How about combine the two and check out the fashion show at 7pm this evening at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks? The Rock the Runway Fashion Show is a benefit for BGO and the Single Parent Scholarship Fund. More info at bgozarks.org.

More please? OK:

Fayetteville Farmers’ Market: On the square (7am-1pm), Mill District (4pm-7pm)
Foghorn’s on College: Ben Coulter – 7pm
