To-do: Monday 6/1

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Jun 1, 2009

As of today, The Tonight Show officially has a new host. Goodbye Jay Leno. Hello Conan O’Brien.

Although he began his 15(ish)-year run as host of NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien with just as much awkwardness as Jimmy Fallon is currently experiencing, O’Brien certainly found his groove and marked himself in history as a total late night badass.

The question, though, is whether or not the earlier time slot will be kind to an über hip and over-the-top ironic talk show host. Will the Leno crowd approve? Will Conan’s original audience tune in an hour earlier?

What do you think? Or will you be doing one of the following instead?

Gypsy on College: The Bob Kramer Incident
Nightbird Books: Arkansas Playwrights Workshop with Bob Ford – 6:30pm
Pesto Cafe: Darren Ray
Smiling Jack’s Fresh Foods: Candy Lee
