Town Hall Meeting set for June 30th

Mayor Lioneld Jordan will be holding the Second Quarter Town Hall Meeting on June 30, 2009. The event will be in the Sequoyah United Methodist Church Parish Hall at 1910 N. Old Wire Road from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

According to the City’s website, this is “an opportunity for citizens to learn more about city programs and ask questions about the programs and policies of city government.”

Mayor Jordan and city staff will be on hand to discuss current City finances, Transportation Improvement, Parks and Recreation programs such as the new dog park, volunteer programs, and the upcoming 2010 Census.

The last 30 minutes of the meeting will be devoted exclusively to questions from the audience.
