To-do: Tuesday 7/7

  • By Todd Gill · Tuesday, Jul 7, 2009

It’s a double-decker, slamboree, Mondee/Tuesdee for George’s Majestic Lounge this week. And the second half is upon us this evening as the bonkersly-awesome Jenny Lewis takes the stage.

What makes Jenny Lewis so awesome? Easy. She writes. She sings. She plays. She was on The Golden Girls.

Can it get any better? Yes. The Heartless Bastards are playing, too.

Art Court art-themed basketball court to open on Dickson Street

If you weren’t one of the lucky six who won tickets for tonight, it looks like there’s still some available for purchase so hop to it, hopper.

Just down the street at the Walton Arts Center, Legally Blonde The Musical will be kicking off a six day run.

It’s a good week in Fayetteville. Nice weather, too.

Full list:
Fayetteville Farmers’ Market: On the square (7am-2pm)
George’s: Jenny Lewis, The Heartless Bastards
Gypsy on College: This Condition, Fade 2 Fall, Head Change
Smiling Jack’s Fresh Foods: Josh & Friends
Teatro Scarpino: McLeod Burson Jazz Quartet
Walton Arts Center: Legally Blonde The Musical
