To-do: Thursday 7/9

Thursdays are pretty cool, y’know? Some people think it’s because you’ve gotten over the hump and the next day is Friday and therefore, there’s something to be pumped about on Thursday. Others say it’s because the ancient Greek God Thursday drove a Lamborghini. Personally, I just think it’s a good name. Plus, you can say it like this if you wanna: Thursdee.

There’s so much going on tonight, I don’t even know where to begin.

I mean, George’s has a pretty big show which is cool, but just behind the fence at Powerhouse, Hardaway and the Commoners will be having a party on a patio. Of course, just up the street, Smoke & Barrel‘s Thursday nights are always nuts so I don’t know what to tell you.

If live music on Dickson’s not your Thursday thang, there’s a Gulley Park concert tonight or you could check out the Pope County Bootleggers at Mellow Mushroom.

Don’t want any live music at all? Go get some tickets to see Legally Blonde at the Walton Arts Center.
