To-do: Wednesday 7/15

  • By Todd Gill · Wednesday, Jul 15, 2009

I’ve still got yesterday’s Lite-Brite song in my head. Thanks a lot, me.

Speaking of Lite-Brite, what a weird toy. I mean, what did kids do with a Lite-Brite? How did we get sold that stuff? “Here, kid. Make a sign.” A sign? Really? “A light-up sign!” O…K…?

Enough of that. Tonight is a Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks kind of night. It’s the third annual Sunflowers & Sangria event with music by Shout LuLu and all sorts of foods-n-beverages. If you didn’t win tickets, you can still buy some at bgozarks.org.

Scott Leeper of the Ben Miller Band is at Smoke & Barrel if you’d rather have your music bar-style. Or you could head to George’s for David’s Pegasus and St. Anthony.

But wait, there’s more:

Arsaga’s on Crossover: Singer/songwriter circle
Botanical Garden of the Ozarks: Summer Cocktails: Sunflowers & Sangria
El Chico: Benjamin Del Shreve
Ella’s: Jazz on the Hill
George’s: David’s Pegasus, St. Anthony
Herman’s: TJ Scarlett
Smiling Jack’s Fresh Foods: Wally & Friends
Smoke & Barrel: Scott Leeper (of Ben Miller Band)
US Pizza Co: Sarah Hughes
