To-do: Wednesday 7/22

A year ago this week, part three of CNN’s Black in America series aired and during a discussion on the state of commercial rap music, Arkansas’ own 607 was interviewed for his role in Little Rock’s Hip Hop School program.

Tonight, 607 will be at Club Fix along with Baby Armie (formerly Luminfire) and resident DJs EQ & Shortfuze. There’s no cover and the ladies drink wine for only $1. Who’s in?

Another highlight tonight is the Dan’s Party comedy improv show at Teatro Scarpino. The long-form improv group from here in Fayetteville is made up of four UA drama majors and is gaining a following thanks in part to their semi-regular appearances off Dickson Street. Admission is only $5 but you’ve gotta be 21.

Other haps include The Skinny Squinty Show at Smoke & Barrel Tavern and Ol Jack Tar at George’s.
