To-do: Tuesday 8/11

Last night’s Zechs Marquise show was not as packed as we anticipated. The rain and the house show across town made for a pretty intimate evening at Smoke & Barrel. St. Anthony was as good as ever, A+ Setup rocked everyone’s faces off (literally)(not literally) and the headliners had most of the bar stand-dancing up front and center. Were you there? Did you like?

Tonight is way more chillaxing. You could hang out at George’s or play chess at Smoke & Barrel. Or you could enjoy some body (not body) slamming poetry at Smiling Jack’s.

If you need tunes, make it a night of jazz at Teatro Scarpino. Or hang out at Jose’s with Earl & Them.

Choose your own adventure:

Fayetteville Farmers’ Market: On the square (7am-2pm)
George’s: Lounge party – no cover
Jose’s: Earl & Them
Smiling Jack’s: Poetry Slam – Individual World Poetry Slam qualifier match
Smoke & Barrel: Chess Tournament
Teatro Scarpino: McLeod/Burson Jazz Quartet
