To-do: Monday 8/17

  • By Todd Gill · Monday, Aug 17, 2009

Last month, Peter Frampton was scheduled to play at the AMP here in Fayetteville but due to some damage his equipment suffered from a thunderstorm, the show was rescheduled for today.

Also on tonight’s Frampton bill are The Elms who are currently residing somewhere in Indiana but who originally came from just across the Arkansas-Missouri border in Neosho.

Also tonight is a Green Drinks meeting at Smiling Jack’s. Green Drinks is “an informal, grassroots networking group for folks interested in all things sustainable and ‘Green’.” Read more on their Facebook page or our original story back in April.

All of it:

AMP: Peter Frampton
Gypsy on College: Songwriter night w/ Jovan Arellano
Herman’s Ribhouse: Russ Hutchinson
Nightbird Books: Arkansas Playwrights Workshop with Bob Ford – 6:30pm
The Perk: Open acoustic jam night
Smiling Jack’s Fresh Foods: Green Drinks – 5:30pm
US Pizza Co: Shannon Wurst
