We’ve received multiple tips from the community about Care2.com, and Localharvest.org‘s contest, in which they will give $15,000 to local farmers’ markets around the country who get the most votes on the care2.com website.
The winning market will receive $5,000, second place gets $3,000, third place $2,000, and fourth and fifth place get $1,000.
As of this morning, the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market had 69 votes. Flint Farmers’ Market was in first place with 2,548 votes. Not out of reach.
