Razor’s Reef Grill & Cantina opens today

  • By Dustin Bartholomew · Monday, Aug 24, 2009

A new seafood restaurant with a Caribbean twist will open today near Baum Stadium in Fayetteville.

Razor’s Reef Grill & Cantina had a soft opening for friends and family over the weekend but today they’ll open officially to the public in the building that used to be Wet Pig BBQ on Razorback Road.

Dave Nall, owner of the new restaurant said Razor’s Reef signature items will be traditional style fish and chips, w/ fresh cod and hand-cut “chips,” and “Cabo-style” fish tacos, with tangy Napa slaw, mango salsa, and avocado cream.

Nall said they will also offer a traditional-style catfish plate and a good selection of burgers, sandwiches and wraps.

Razor’s Reef will focus on a casual atmosphere, and a quality seafood product at an affordable price. “I think our most expensive item on the menu is under $15,” Nall said. “Most of our entrées are under $10.”

Plans are also underway to have live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, and they have a pretty big stage near the back of the restaurant. Who knew?

If you try it, let us know what you think.
