Giveaway: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

This contest is now closed.

TheatreSquared’s The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) opened last week to sold out shows all weekend long at the Star Theatre inside Nadine Baum Studios. Nice work Fayetteville.

Complete Works was created by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Wingfield of the Reduced Shakespeare Company about 15 years ago. It is the story of three actors who look to beef up their resumes by performing all 37 of Shakespeare’s classic works in 90 minutes.

The show has been widely hailed by critics, called “irresistible” by the New York Times, “stupendous, anchorless joy” by The London Times and “the funniest show you are likely to see in your entire lifetime” by the Montreal Gazette.

Those who saw the show over the weekend called it “hilarious,” and those who didn’t, well, they’ve got another week and a half or so to grab some tickets. Also, at least one lucky person and that person’s bestest friend are going to score some front row tickets to a performance of Complete Works of their choice for free. Win!

How to enter
There are plenty of people in the world who probably can’t even name a single Shakespeare work, much less their favorite, but we get the feeling that the Flyer community is a little more cultured than that.

To enter, just leave a comment with the title of your favorite work by old Shakey (that’s what I call him) and you are entered. If you don’t know one, just say Romeo and Juliet. We won’t judge.

What you’ll win
You’ll win two front row tickets to a performance of your choice to the TheatreSquared Production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). Here’s a schedule of performances for reference.
