Tonight, the #2 movie of all time, Casablanca is showing at the UARK bowl for their dinner and a movie night. Add in Moroccan cuisine from Chef Lyle at Ella’s, and you’ve got yourself both a dinner, and a movie.

There’s an artist reception for three local artists at Ultra Studios tonight. Nathan Beatty, Lisa Bauer and Debi Grimm will be showing work, there will be free music by Dennis Collins and Emily Kaitz, and you can check out some locally made fashions as well.

Speaking of art, Brenda and Gary Carter Glass from Heartwood Gallery will be at the Pinnacle Arts Festival this coming weekend. If you’ve never been to the Heartwood Gallery, you are missing some great local art. You can see lots of it here.

Mickey Finn’s has all you can drink domestic drafts and wells for $10 at happy hour from 5-7 Friday and Saturday night. That sounds like a challenge.

LIT lounge just off Dickson St. will have a giant ice sculpture of a nude woman on Saturday night, and will be serving shots off of it somehow. This we’ve got to see. Shot specials all night long.

Speaking of shot specials, Zooloo’s has $3 shot specials changing almost every hour on Friday and Saturday nights. Sounds dangerous.

Buster Belly’s has $2 Wells, Drafts, Margaritas, SummerBrews, Domestic and Import Bottles from 4-7 tonight and tomorrow night for happy hour.

Randall Schreve will be at 21st Amendment Sunday night. Also, wine and martini’s are 1/2 price.

Kirsty’s place is one of the only daycare centers in Fayetteville that offer part time or drop in childcare options. That means you can take your kid down there on a Tuesday, pay less than you would for a babysitter, and go get a massage. No registration fee this month either.

There’s a small business showcase next week at Arvest bank near the square on September 17th.

Ella’s restaurant inside the Inn at Carnall Hall is now flying in fresh fish. They are overnighting #1 Sashimi grade Ahi Tuna and Wild Caught Alaskan Salmon every week, and next week they are planning on fresh Swordfish.

Every Tuesday is free cookie day at Penguin Eds. Also, the Hogs are off this week, but Penguin Eds will be ready for the Georgia game with great family packs for tailgating. Ribs, baby.

At this point, every one of you knows about Wing Wednesday at Lucky Luke’s with 30¢ wings and $1 domestic drafts. But you’d be mad if I didn’t tell you and you forgot, wouldn’t you?

About 30 seconds ago, the Railhead Saloon’s 1/2 pound burger (after it’s cooked), fries, and a drink lunch special was the best kept secret in town. Whoops.

There’s a wine tasting coming up at Emelia’s Kitchen next Wednesday. Oh Sarma, get into my belly.
